Content Access Fee
-
The previous Booking Fee was a point-of-sale surcharge applied to each fare per passenger/sector.
-
The Content Access Fee applies to contracted agencies. This fee:
-
Is applied per net booked segment. The fee is not applied to ancillary services.
-
Is billed through Travelport or through a Travelport operator.
-
For directly contracted agencies, the Content Access Fee is invoiced in the monthly product billing.
-
For operator-contracted agencies, the billing process for the Content Access Fee is determined by each operator.
-
-
Requires an update to Ryanair's booking terms. If updated terms are not signed by November 1, 2025, access to Ryanair is removed.
Travelport and Travelport operators have already contacted agencies that have made Ryanair bookings after October 2024. However, if your agency has not yet updated or wants to add Ryanair content, contact your Travelport representative to complete the updated booking terms.
-
The Content Access Fee:
-
Applies to all bookings made through Travelport systems (Travelport+, Apollo, and Worldspan).
-
Applies to most bookings made on or after November 1, 2025:
-
The previous Booking Fee continues to apply to unflown segments booked before November 1.
-
Based on the end date of their existing contracts, a few bookings made after November 1 may continue to use the Booking Fee for a period of time.
-
-
Does not change the content that was previously available. The same cabin classes continue to be offered through Travelport: Basic (Y), Regular (G), Plus (L), and FlexiPlus (B).
-
Does not change the existing booking process, fare rules, or supported functionality. A live booking continues to be made on the Ryanair system, and a passive copy is created in the GDS.
-
Is not credited for cancellations made directly with Ryanair.
For fee information and more details, see Ryanair - FR - General Information in the Travelport Knowledge Base.
