Personalizing Travelport Smartpoint

There are many ways that you can personalize Travelport Smartpoint to support your agency's business processes and your personal preferences.

Selecting Window Layouts

By default, Travelport Smartpoint is displayed in the original Classic Windows theme. However, you can switch between Classic Windows and Flex Windows at any time.

Flex Windows supports a maximum of nine windows, which can each be changed to different sizes, orders, and themes. Both template and customized layout options are available.

Tip! The Grid View (Four-Window View) in Classic Windows provides some, but not all, of the features also available through Flex Windows.

Managing Application Windows

The Travelport Smartpoint application window contains one complete instance of the Smartpoint screen.

You can make changes to the application window, which include adding, removing, and renaming new application windows, as well as changing the connection for an application window.

Changing Window Fonts and Font Sizes

You can change the font and font size for all of the windows in the application window. The font settings apply to both Classic Windows and Flex Windows.

Changing the Location of Dialog Boxes

By default, most dialog boxes open in the center of the Smartpoint window. However, you can move the following dialog boxes to another location in the Travelport Smartpoint window.

Accessing Drop Through Carriers

Drop through carriers and drop through entries can be accessed by disabling plug-ins.

Managing Work Areas

You can switch between Work Areas as well as add or remove Work Area tabs.

Using QuickCommands

Quick Commands to provide fast access to web sites, executable applications, or Smartpoint dialog boxes.

Programmable Keys Editor

You can use the editor to create Programmable Keys, also known as PKeys, which allow you to customize your use of specific keys, such as the function keys (F1, F2, F3...).

Setting Queue Count Options

To manage your queues, you can change queue count options, which includes:

  • Setting queues and categories for both QuickView and the full queues list.
  • Enabling queue count polling.
  • Setting the time period to poll QuickView queue counts.
