Travelport Admin Portal for Universal Desktop Administrators

The Travelport Administrative Portal provides Administrators with the ability to configure Universal Desktop, create profiles, manage their hierarchies, and manage their agency's printer and terminal connections. Many options are set by default during provisioning. It is the responsibility of the Administrator to ensure that these settings are accurate for his or her agency. See the Travelport Admin Portal Settings table below for a list of settings that should be verified.

Access to Travelport Admin Portal

If a user is not able to view any Travelport Admin Portal submenu items (symbolized with the icon) from their Universal Desktop session, it means they have not been assigned the roles and permissions to access the Travelport Admin Portal in their User Login (Agent Profile), and must be referred to their Agency Administrator.

Likewise, if a user attempts to login to the Travelport Admin Portal via Internet Explorer and the User Login (Agent Profile) created by the Agency Administrator has not been assigned the necessary roles and permissions, an authentication error will be returned from the B2B gateway.

Travelport Admin Portal Settings

The Travelport Admin Portal Menus topic contains a list of each menu item. Every function within the Travelport Admin Portal can be used by Universal Desktop Administrators.

The following table lists the Travelport Admin Portal settings that should be verified once an administrator receives access to the Travelport Admin Portal.
