Creating Booked Itineraries
You can email booked itineraries to travelers with selected details. You can customize the display, and create separate itinerary displays for each traveler in a multi-traveler booking.
To create a booked itinerary:

Book or retrieve a booked PNR/Booking File.
Tip! You can also book an existing quote option directly from the Quote tab, or book a saved quote from the Retrieve tab.

Open the Trip Quote basket.

In the Trip Quotes and Itineraries window, click the Booked itinerary tab to display the booked itinerary segments.
Tip! At any time, you can refresh or save changes to the booked itinerary.
More Information-
Click Refresh preview to display the changes you have made. You can also click the REFRESH button at the bottom of the screen.

Click Save to save the current itinerary changes to retrieve later.

Optional. Click Mark-up/down to add or edit fees or other fare changes.

Optional. Click Passenger to choose which passengers to display for the itinerary. With this feature, you can send separate itinerary information to each passenger in the booking.

Click the Passenger to display the passengers in the itinerary.

In Itinerary Set Up, select either:

Grouped Itinerary to preview, save, or send the a single itinerary for all of the selected passenger.
ExampleIn this example, all three passenger are selected and the same itinerary is applied to these passenger.

Separate Itineraries, to preview, save, or send separate itineraries for the selected passengers.
ExampleIn this example, all three passengers are selected, but separate itineraries are created for each passenger. For brevity, only the first air segment is included in this example.

Note: The Itinerary Set Up options are available only in Smartpoint 11.0 and later. Smartpoint 10.0 and 10.1 support only grouped itineraries.

In Passengers, select or clear the desired passengers.
ExampleIn this example, the third passenger is the only traveler selected for itinerary display.

Click APPLY to display the selected itinerary options.

Optional. In the Segments section, select or clear the desired segments to display. For example, you can clear the hotel segment to display only the air segments in the itinerary.
Tip! In Smartpoint 11.0, support for Text, Paid, and Due segments were added to Trip Quote.
More InformationRemarks in the Trip Quote itinerary are displayed depending on the type of segment and remarks included in the PNR/Booking File.
Text SegmentsBy default, Text segments are not displayed in the Trip Quote booked itineraries.
To add a Text segment, select the desired segment.

After the booked itinerary is refreshed:

The text is displayed in the card associated to the preceding Air, Tour, Hotel, or Car segment.

If a PNR/Booking File contains Text segments, but does not contain any associated Air, Tour, Car, or Hotel segments, then Tour cards are automatically created.

If Hotel text segments are found in the PNR/Booking File and the PNR/Booking File contains a Hotel segment, the segments are displayed in the appropriate card.
Paid and Due SegmentsBy default, Paid and Due segments are automatically displayed in Trip Quote booked itineraries.
For Air segments, the Paid and Due segments display with the stored fare.
For other types of segments:

For Car and Hotel segments, the Paid and Due segments display at the bottom of the card.

If there are not any Air segments, but a Tour segment is present, the Paid and Due segments are associated with the Tour segment.

If there are no Tour or Air segments in the PNR/Booking File, a Tour card is created with the Paid and Due information.

If a PNR/Booking File contains Paid or Due Text segments, but does not contain any Air, Tour, Car, or Hotel segments, a Tour car is automatically created.

Optional.Customize the display for this itinerary, including language, time format, theme, color scheme, and fonts.

Optional. In Reservation Information, select from the available display options.
Tip! Click Show More Options to expand the list of segments and Reservation Information options. You can also click Hide Filter Panel if you only want to see the itinerary.
More InformationSome options are available depending on the status of the quote and whether the data is present. For example, Frequent Flyer and Seat Assignment are available only if present in the PNR/Booking File.
Reservation Information
Description
Traveler Name
Displays travelers names from an active PNR/Booking File.
Frequent Flyer
Displays from an active PNR/Booking File if frequent traveler information is present. Note that all frequent flyer numbers in the PNR/Booking File display, even if all travelers are not associated to the quote.
Fare Rules
If rules do not display as expected, you can create a ticket in MyTravelport, or use your standard method for contacting the Travelport Help Desk.
In the Preferences section of the Templates and Settings tab, you can set rules to display on separate lines.
Baggage Allowance Permitted baggage for the associated fare. This option is enabled only if Fare Rules is selected.

In Smartpoint 11.0 and earlier, only the first segment of an itinerary displayed baggage allowance at the bottom of the segment card.

In Smartpoint 11.1 and later, baggage allowance for all segments is displayed at the bottom of Trip Quote itinerary.
Agency Info
Agency logos and contact information can be added in the Template section of the Templates and Settings tab.
Vendor Logo
Displays only for the Mobile, Smartpoint, and Simple themes.
Booking Status
Depending on the theme, the booking status displays as either the booking code (HK) or the human language equivalent (Confirmed).
Price
The price must be stored in the PNR for it to display when selected.
Note: In Smartpoint 11.1 and earlier, approximate rate totals may not be accurate for hotel pricing. Enter *IH to view accurate approximate rate totals.Approximate rate totals are accurate for Smartpoint 11.2 and later.More InformationIn Smartpoint 11.1 and earlier, rate rules are returned using HOV data. HOV returns an approximate total based on the current day's rate, which may result in an inaccurate approximate totals. This response may also result in a discrepancy in the approximate total rate compared with ViewTrip rules.
In Smartpoint 11.2 and later, this issue is corrected to return rate rules using *IH, which corrects this discrepancy by returning an approximate total based on the rates for the quoted days in the itinerary.
Ticket
Tickets for each passenger display in the itinerary.
Airline Booking Reference
Displays the supplier's record locator.
Ancillaries Displays ancillary services for the itinerary.
In Smartpoint 11.0 and later, seat assignments are indicated separately for each traveler.
Branded Fares Displays branded fares information. Booking Reference
Displays the Travelport+ (1G) or Apollo (1V) record locator, if present in a PNR/Booking File.
Itinerary Remarks
Displays associated remarks for the applicable booked segments in the PNR/Booking File associated. Remarks are RMA in Apollo (1V) and RI.S in Travelport+ (1G).
Unassociated Remarks
Displays all unassociated remarks that apply to the entire itinerary.
Additional Service Displays paid seat information, meals, and other ancillary services for the itinerary.
In Smartpoint 11.0 and later, Additional Services are indicated separately for each traveler. For example:
Note: In the Smartpoint theme, Additional Service is displayed as Requested Services.
Meals Displays meals in the itinerary.
In Smartpoint 11.0 and later, meals are indicated separately for each traveler.
Seat assignment Displays any assigned seats for the travelers in the itinerary.
In Smartpoint 11.0 and later, seat assignments are indicated separately for each traveler.
CO2
Displays carbon emissions, if provided by the carrier.
Include Trip Manager Link Smartpoint 11.1 and later. Adds a link to Trip Manager at the bottom of booked itineraries.
More InformationTrip Manager is a self-service trip management portal that is planned to replace the functionality in ViewTrip.
Trip Manager is available for free from Travelport, but requires registration for each PCC. For registration links and more information, see Trip Manager - Overview and Functionality in the Travelport Knowledge Base.
If you select this option, the Trip Manager link displays at the bottom of booked itineraries in the following locations:

- You can refresh at any time, but be sure to click Refresh preview or the REFRESH button after you complete all changes.
- After your itinerary is ready, you can click:
Save to save the current itinerary to retrieve later.
PDF to save the itinerary as a PDF file, which can be attached to an email or text.
EMAIL to send the itinerary as an email.
COPY to copy the itinerary to the Windows clipboard.
CANCEL to close the screen without any changes.
Tip! In Smartpoint 11.0 and later, you can choose to save to PDF, email, or copy either grouped or separate itineraries.
