Group Functions
You can access group functions and reports on the Groups submenu.
The Group Adjust function enables you to create manual payables for true groups, and to generate and apply plastic payments.
The Group Maintenance function enables you to set up and maintain groups. The Passenger Maintenance function enables you to maintain passengers and segments for tracking groups.
Group functionality provides two types of reports, which are described below.
Manifests and Passenger Reports
Manifests and passenger reports give providers, such as airlines and hotels, the information they need to provide services. Additionally, these reports give tour guides or operators the information they need to ensure groups run smoothly. Manifests and passenger reports include the following:
Passenger Maintenance (includes a comprehensive passenger list) |
These reports are intended primarily for true groups because they include every passenger in the group. They will be useful for leisure groups only if all parties in the group have purchased the same or related activities.
You can batch any of these reports. For instructions about batching, see Batch Printing.
You should generate the Group Exception List and correct any problems before you print these reports to ensure the accuracy of these reports. You can include the Group Exception List when you generate the Group Manifest and the Rooming List. For other reports, use the Group Exception List function to generate the list.
Statements and Financial Reports
Statements and financial reports enable you to bill passengers, audit transactions, manage cash flow, and account for profits. Statements and financial reports include the following:
You can batch any of these reports. For instructions about batching, see Batch Printing.
