Hotel Availability Display

Hotel Availability options are displayed for a Standard Hotel Search after you complete the Search screen.

Tip! This screen is displayed only if you are making a Standard Hotel Search and Hotel Retail is disabled. If Hotel Retail is enabled, the Hotel List in the Hotel Retail plugin is displayed after completing the Search screen.

You can display hotel availability using interactive links, menus and the calendar either with or without air segments. With hotel search you can view:

The following example shows a Hotel Availability display for Amsterdam for 15 – 17 January.

The following table lists the components of the availability screen and the components of the header line and Line 1 of the display.

Component	Description
Header Line
SCHIPOL	The specific search location.
15JAN-17JAN	Check-in and check-out dates of the hotel display.
2NT	Two nights.
1ADULT	Availability for one adult.
MI	Unit of measurement for the distance of the hotel from the search location. MI = Miles KM = Kilometers
	Click this icon to divide the window into two partitions, if required.
	Up to three promotional offers from hotel suppliers, if available. Click the green links, such as *AH1 and AH2, to see the ads. Some links may include a green HOC link, which links directly to the rates for the promotional offer. Example From the Complete Hotel Availability display, click a rate to display the rules and sell options. Or, click Back to redisplay the original results.
Line
1	The line number.
A
#	The level of participation for the hotel. # = a Lowest Public Rate program participant. ! = a Best Available Rate Program participant.
RA	The vendor code for the hotel chain or property. Hover over or click on the two-letter vendor code to decode the hotel vendor.
APOLLO AMSTERDAM	The name of the hotel property.
AMSTERDAM NL	The city and two-character country code for the property. Some vendors return a short street address.
5N	The distance and direction of the property from the search location. 5N indicates that the property is 5 miles north of the requested search location. In this example, the search location is an airport. However, for a city search location, the property would be 5 miles north of the city center. Abbreviations N = North NE = Northeast E = East SE = Southeast S = South SW = Southwest W = West NW = Northwest
80.75 - 114.75	The lowest and highest available rates for the property.
EUR	The currency for the property.
Ratings	Ratings for Trip Advisor, NTM, and AAA. Available ratings vary by property. More Information The TripAdvisor ratings link to reviews. NTM Crown ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 from Northstar Travel Media. AAA Ratings vary by Smartpoint version: In Smartpoint 9.0.1.106 and earlier, a scale of 1 to 5 AAA Diamonds is used: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. In Smartpoint 9.1 and later, 1- and 2- diamond properties are replaced with a AAA Inspected and Approved category represented by an A. Properties with 3, 4, and 5 Diamonds continue to use the numeric scale, so the scale is: A, 3, 4, and 5.
