Assisted Ticketing
Voluntary Changes
Agents can process voluntary exchanges and set up fares using the Voluntary Change tab in Assisted Ticketing.
Voluntary Changes in Assisted Ticketing are supported for:

Travelport+ BSP agencies in Smartpoint 10.0 and later.

Travelport+ ARC agencies in Smartpoint 10.1 and later.
Note: Travelport+ ARC agencies using Smartpoint 10.0 for voluntary changes will not get accurate results because all original paid taxes are removed. For Smartpoint 10.0 and earlier, agents using ARC should continue to complete voluntary changes using Travelport+ formats.

The Assisted Ticketing - Voluntary Change feature does not provide any guarantee against ADMs:

Voluntary Change Tasks
Assisted Ticketing supports three tasks for performing voluntary changes. Agents can either:

Quote only
Provides a fare comparison between the original fare and a requoted fare. BSP and ARC agencies use the same process. -
Update modifiers
Saves exchange details, such as ticket modifier updates, but does not immediately reissue the ticket for exchange. BSP and ARC updates use the same tab but have different responses and payment options. -
Updating modifiers for ARC

Exchange tickets
Saves exchange details, such as ticket modifier updates, and also reissues the ticket for exchange. BSP and ARC exchanges use the same tab but have different responses and payment options. -
Exchanging tickets for ARC

In Smartpoint 11.0, support was added for IT/BT (Inclusive Tour/Bulk Tour) fares to:

Update modifiers or exchange tickets for fares with add collect.

Update modifiers or exchange tickets for fares with a refundable balance.

Scope

Multiple reissues are not supported.

The Q Surcharge collection method is not supported.

NDC and Direct Payment Carrier segments are not supported. If the Ticket Void tab is opened for an itinerary that contains only unsupported segments for tickets in either the electronic ticket (*HTE) or document itinerary (*DI), messages and or warning may be displayed.
