Exchanging Tickets with Terminal Formats

You can complete a manual ticket exchange using Travelport+ (1G) or Apollo (1V) formats.

Note: The availability of exchanges varies by carrier and fare. In particular, some Direct Payment Carrier do not support changes or cancellations. These Direct Payment Carriers support modifications only if they are made directly with the carrier.

Basic Process

The basic process for exchanging tickets:

Create the revised journey.
Store the fare. Use Manual Fare Build entries, if necessary.
End transact and retrieve the PNR/Booking File.
Using Ticketing Modifier or Ticketing entries, enter the Exchange Form of Payment (FEX).
