Travelport+ Format Guide
Search tips
Type a word or phrase in the Search field in the upper right then press Enter or click the search icon.
- To search for a phrase or for a format with punctuation or a special character, enclose the phrase or format in quotations, as common punctuation is ignored.
- "N." returns results for name fields. However, N. without quotations returns any page with an N because punctuation (the period) is ignored.
- "Round trip" returns results with the phrase round trip. However, round trip without quotations returns all pages with both words (round and trip) anywhere in the page.
- Words with variant endings are returned in results. For example, a search for car returns topics with cars, carry, and care.
- Boolean operators are supported. Boolean operators are not case sensitive.
- AND narrows the search and retrieves only the topics that contain all of the words in the same topic but not necessarily together as a phrase. When separating words with blank spaces, the AND is inferred. You can also use a plus (+) or ampersand (&).
- OR broadens the results by retrieving topics that contain any of the words it separates. You can also use a pipe (|).
- NOT finds topics that contain one term but not the other. You can also use a caret (^).
