Product Advisory

A product advisory is not currently available for this Beta release.

Installation Updates

• Installation for Smartpoint 12.0 Beta is available only through Travelport Marketplace on the Smartpoint 12.0 Beta product page.

  Note that this product page is displayed only if:

  • Your agency is provisioned for the Smartpoint 12.0 Beta release.

  • You are logged in to Travelport Marketplace with MyTravelport with credentials.

• A new screen is added to the installation, which requires you to approve the requirement for a MyTravelport account for multi-factor authentication (MFA) sign on. For more information, see:

  • Sign on to Smartpoint Desktop with multi-factor authentication (MFA) in the Travelport Knowledge Base.

Installation Guides

For the Beta release, installation guides are only on the SUPPORT tab of the Smartpoint 12.0 Beta product page:

• Quick Installation Guide for single desktop installations using default installation settings.
  This guide is also included in the installation download.

• Standard Desktop Installation Guide for single desktop installations not using default installation settings.

• Technical Installation Guide for technical audiences with detailed information to install in distributed environments, create silent installations, and troubleshoot.

Feature and Functionality Updates

Depending on the update, information may be available in one or more locations, including:

• Topics in this Smartpoint Online Help (User Guide).

• Topics in separate Online Help systems for Smartpoint Pro features.

• Articles in the Travelport Knowledge Base in MyTravelport.

• Demos, tutorial, and class schedules in the Course Catalog in MyTravelport.
