Working with Saved Trips

The Saved Trip feature allows users to save itinerary items such as Air, Rail, Car, or Hotel segments, associated Profile, Policy, Workflow, and other reservation elements, without creating a true Universal Record (UR). The Saved Trip stores key itinerary data elements that help the client quickly complete the booking process at a later time based on the previously saved itinerary items.

Saved trips can be:

• Created

• Searched for

• Retrieved

• Modified

• Deleted

The SavedTrip element contains the relevant traveler and travel segment needed to complete a booking.
