The following table lists the components for the default low-to-high availability screen.

Component	Description
Header Line
DENVER INTL ARPT CO	Pick-up location. If a separate drop-off city and/or location is not indicated in the search, the response uses the pick-up location as the drop-off location. (/L-)
FR 02MAR 2:55 PM – 04MAR	Period for which availability is displayed. Because this availability display was requested based on a previously booked flight, a pick-up time is included.
STND/PROM USD	Standard and promotional rates in USD
	Click this icon to divide the window into two partitions, if required.

SORT BY VENDOR LOC TYPE RATE FM APPROX TOTAL	Click a heading to sort the display by vendor, location, car type, rate, and mileage option. See Sorting the Order of the Display for details.
First Availability Line
1	Line Number
+	Indicates an Inside Availability® participant.
ALAMO	The rental car company. (Also known as the vendor or supplier.)
T	The pick-up or drop-off location of the car rental company: T = Terminal     O = Off-terminal     C= City Tip! Hover over or click the location code to view additional information about this location, if available from the vendor. For example: Counter in terminal, airport shuttle to vehicle, on airport grounds.
S	Availability status: S = Available to sell.   N = On request.
G	Rate guarantee indicator: G = Rate guaranteed or prepaid. (Prepaid rates may display as "G" if the supplier has not supplied rate data.) Q = Quoted rate subject to change. P = Prepaid ³= Rate converted from currency originally displayed (estimate only). Prepaid Rates (/Y) Prepaid rates must be specifically requested. Using a terminal entry, append /Y to your car search request (e.g., CAL13JAN-15JANDEN/ARR-1400/DT-1400/Y). In the Car Availability Search panel, choose Prepaid Rate in Rate Category. A PREPAID header is displayed in the car availability display. Prepaid rates are indicated by the P in the Guarantee field. Click a rate to confirm the prepaid rate category in the Rate Detail section of the Rate Rules. The Special Text Comments section details cancellation and no show penalties. Refer to Car Prepaid Rates for more information and FAQs.
ECAR	Car type code. Hover over the type code to decode the car type. Click the type code to display a text description and image. Note: Images are provided by each vendor, and may not be available for all car type selections. Example
41.35	Rate, shown in local currency. The rate can be weekly or daily rate depending on the length of rental. Click this rate to display the rate rules screen, from which you can sell the selected rental car.
RD	Rate details. RW = One way not allowed. Weekly rate. RD = One way not allowed. Daily rate. D = Daily rate. W = Weekly rate. Tip! Hover over or click the location code to view the rate detail description.
UNL	FM (Free Mileage) or FK (Free Kilometers) UNL= Unlimited mileage. 150 = Specific mileage allowance.
0.00	Charge for additional mileage or kilometers: 0.25 = Additional mileage or kilometer charges. 0.00 = No charge.
82.70	APPROX TOTAL (Approximate Total) Estimated applicable car rental charges including base rate, taxes, surcharges, mandatory fees, any applicable drop charges.
+TQ	Add the line to Trip Quote.

The Car Availability Modifier toolbar allows you to change dates and the number of nights after an initial availability has been performed.

Click on the icon to display the Car Availability Modifier toolbar.

This allows quick access to the same availability request for the day before or the day after, or for a different number of days up to a maximum of eight.  

To minimize the toolbar, click on the Close icon on the left.

You can change the order of the Car Availability display so sort by vendor, location, car type, and rate, and mileage options.

By default, Car Availability options are returned from the lowest to the highest approximate total rate listed in the APPROX TOTAL column. The column header displayed in orange:

To change the order of the display:

1. Click a blue column header. For example:

Sorting Headers

Header	Sorts by:
VENDOR	Car vendor.
LOC	The pick-up or drop-off location of the car rental company. T = Terminal     O = Off-terminal     C= City
TYPE	Car type code.
RATE	Rate, shown in local currency. The rate can be weekly or daily rate depending on the length of rental.
FM/FK	Free mileage options (in miles or kilometers). UNL= Unlimited mileage. 150 = Specific mileage allowance.
APPROX TOTAL	Approximate total rate. Estimated applicable car rental charges including base rate, taxes, surcharges, mandatory fees, and any applicable drop charges.

The column header changes to orange and the display order changes to reflect the selected column. In the following example, the Car Availability display is sorted by the car vendor.

2. Optional. Click More Cars to display additional car options, which are also displayed in your selected sorting order.
3. Optional. To redisplay the default order by approximate total value (APPROX TOTAL), click the selected sorting header again. For example, if you selected TYPE to display the order by car type, click TYPE again to return to the default order.

Note: Occasionally, when you redisplay the default order, the line order may be slightly changed. For example, Line 14 may display before Line 13. This change does not indicate an error, and can occur if there is more than one car line with the same approximate total value (APPROX TOTAL).

4. Optional. Sell a car segment.

Note: When you sort, the line numbers stay the same for each line, even if the order changes. For example, if you want to sell Line 4 in the default display, you will continue to sell same Line 4 in the sorted responese even though this line is now displayed as the first line in the sorted response.
