Car Availability Display
When a Car Availability Search request is made, the response is returned in a Car Availability display.
The following example shows Car Availability display for Denver for pick-up on March 2 and drop-off on March 4.
The default order of the display may vary.
More Information
- If the request does not include rate modifiers, the availability displays rental options from the lowest rate to the highest approximate total (APPROX TOTAL).
- If the request includes rate modifiers, such as corporate discount (CD) rates or other negotiated rates, the rates that meet the rate modifiers are listed first.
- If the vendor also returns rates outside of the request modifiers, these rates are listed next, with a header line between each set of rate types, such as: RATES NOT VALIDATED FOR CD#/ID# AND/OR DROP OFF LOCATION.
Example with supported and unsupported rate modifiers
Tip! You can sort the order of the display by vendor, location, car type, and rate, and mileage options.
To view rate rules:

Note: Occasionally, when you redisplay the default order, the line order may be slightly changed. For example, Line 14 may display before Line 13. This change does not indicate an error, and can occur if there is more than one car line with the same approximate total value (APPROX TOTAL).
