Assisted Ticketing

Opening the Voluntary Change Tab

In Smartpoint 10.0 and later, agents can process voluntary exchanges and set up fares using the Voluntary Change tab in Assisted Ticketing.

To open the Voluntary Change tab:

You can either:

  1. Enter the Travelport+ (1G) format: #SATVOL.

  2. Click the Assisted Ticketing icon, which is located in the menu and the PNR Viewer.

From the Smartpoint Assisted Ticketing window, click the Voluntary Changes tab.

From the Voluntary Change tab, you can:

  • Quote only
    Provides a fare comparison between the original fare and a requoted fare.

  • Update modifiers
    Saves exchange details, such as ticket modifier updates, but does not immediately reissue the ticket for exchange.

  • Exchange tickets
    Saves exchange details, such as ticket modifier updates, and also reissues the ticket for exchange.
