Assisted Ticketing

Refunds for Canadian Agencies

Note: This workaround applies only to Smartpoint versions 9.0.2 to 11.0.
In Smartpoint 11.1 and later, a Routing Code field is added to both full refunds and partial refunds for Canadian PCCs, and this workaround is no longer required.

Agencies in Canada are required to add a routing code when issuing or refunding an air ticket. For air tickets, the routing code is added as a Document (DI.) Line.

For Smartpoint Canadian agencies should issue all refunds, including full refunds, as partial refunds in Assisted Ticketing. For full refunds, enter a zero value used.

In the Refund tab for partial refunds, in Screen 4, enter RC-NN, where NN is the two-number routing code.
