GDS Formats

In Smartpoint, many functions can be performed using both intuitive screens or GDS formats. However, some functions can be performed only through intuitive screens, while other functions require Travelport+ (1G) or Apollo (1V) formats.

This help system includes some formats. However, a full list of formats are available through either:

• Smartpoint Help entries: HELP or H/

• The Travelport+ Format Guide, which provides Travelport+ (1G) formats as well as conversions from other host formats.

• The Smartpoint GDS Translator, which provides automatic translation between GDS formats for some of the most common commands.

• Articles in the Travelport Knowledge Base.

Smartpoint supports most Travelport+ (1G) and Apollo (1V) formats through the Smartpoint interface. However, some entries are not supported through Smartpoint, and require direct access to Travelport+ (1G) or Apollo Apollo (1V) using native mode.

• H/OSI to display a help page for a specific function with a maximum of four characters. For example: OSI.
