Fare Rules

 

Fare Rules identify the types of rules and restrictions that govern the fare, such as cancellation penalties, advance purchase requirements, and blackout dates.

You can view fare rules either:

• Before booking from:

  • Fare Display/Tariff Display in Travelport+ (1G) and Apollo (1V)

  • Fare and Schedule Display in Apollo

• After booking from:

  • Fare Shopping results

  • Pricing/Fare Quote results

  Fare rules after pricing allow you to view detailed fare information. Automated fare rules display subjects, such as the type of penalty that may apply or advance purchase requirements. You can see a rule summary or a rule category on a specific subject.

  Note: By default, Apollo (1V) and Travelport+ (1G) display the rule for the most restrictive fare used in the itinerary.
