Automating Workflows for NDC Bookings

NDC booking schedule changes

Productivity Automator supports the automation of workflows for schedule changes on NDC bookings. To accomplish this, a trigger, Schedule change - NDC, and action, NDC PNR Sync, are available. The Send email action also supports the sending of NDC schedule change updates.

NDC schedule changes look and behave differently to GDS schedule changes. With an NDC schedule change, the airline sends a message that a schedule change has happened, but the user is required to sync the Travelport PNR to the airline reservation to see what that change is.

For the best automated flow, create two rules:

• A rule to to sync bookings that have schedule changes so that Smartpoint is able to access the bookings with their updated itineraries, and

• A rule to manage any actions the user wishes Productivity Automator to execute on the bookings dependent on what the schedule change is.

NDC auto-ticketing

Productivity Automator supports the automation of auto-ticketing on NDC bookings. To accomplish this, use NDC auto-ticketing in the NDC actions menu.
