What's New

March 11, 2025

With this release, additional user access functionality have been added to MyTravelport.

  • Federated customers are those that use their existing identity provider to manage user accounts for MyTravelport. They can use MyTravelport to edit their users' service configuration, GTID, and entitlements for Content Optimizer (if applicable).

  • Non-federated customers continue to manage user details, roles, passwords, and self-service registration through MyTravelport. We are enhancing the way you reset your password. You will stop using security questions and start using multifactor authentication (MFA). This consists of a One Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to your email to authenticate.

For federated customers:

  • The reset password option has been removed from the Edit user, Login, and Profile pages. Passwords can be reset and changed through your identity provider.

  • Activating and disabling users and changing a user's profile information are handled through the company's identity provider, rather than through the Manager users page in MyTravelport. Federated administrations can use the Manage Users page to edit their users' service configuration, GTID, and entitlements for Content Optimizer (if applicable).

  • Users are not allowed to self-register.

  • Bulk upload is not available.

  • The frequency for changing your password is managed through your company's identity provider.

For non-federated customers:

  • The reset password option has been removed from the Edit user panel available to administrators. You can reset your password by choosing the Forgot password link on the login page or by choosing Change Password from your profile page.

  • In Manage users, the option to delete a user has been removed. Instead, set a user's status to Disable to prevent the user from accessing MyTravelport.

  • You will be prompted every 365 days to change your MyTravelport password. Prior to this release, you were prompted to change your password every 90 days.

  • Security questions are no longer being used.

  • Manage users has an updated user interface.

  • Administrators with permission can enable Smartpoint Cloud and JSON API users with access to NDC content using the NDC Management option in the Administration menu.
