A Hotel Search request can be modified to request specified rate categories, such as Senior Citizen, Government, Weekend, Corporate, or Tour.
Note: Unlike Negotiated Rates, Rate Categories are publicly available, provided the traveler meets the parameters of the requested Rate Category.
Request
In addition to the minimum requirements for a basic Hotel Search, the category rate information can be included by adding in rate category information in the /HotelSearchModifiers/RateCategory element.

Response
The Hotel Search response returns properties within the requested parameters that have availability for the requested rate categories.
