Reset Password

Agents can get locked out of their Universal Desktop account due to too many incorrect login attempts. If an agent is locked out, Agency Administrators have the ability to unlock and reset passwords for agents within their hierarchy. Agent passwords can be reset from two locations:

  • From the agent's open profile, click the reset agent password link.

  • From the Travelport Admin Portal menu, select Tools then Reset Password.

Reset Password from the Agent's Profile

To unlock or reset an agent's password from the agent's profile,

  1. Open the agent's profile. Refer to Open Profile for more information.

  2. Click the reset agent password link to the right of the agent's name.

  3. Click Yes to reset the agent's password. An email is sent to the agent's primary email address.

Reset Password from the Tools Menu

Note: If you have Travelport support or system administrator rights, you must first emulate into the agent's branch.

  1. From the Travelport Admin Portal menu, select Tools then Reset Agent Password.

  2. Enter the agent's login ID, then click Search. The agent's information displays.

    • If you do not know the agent's login ID or if no match is found, click the profiles open link, then follow the directions above for resetting a password from the agent's profile.

  3. Click the Reset Password button. An email is sent to the agent's primary email address.
