Delete Profile

Administrators can use the Travelport Admin Portal to delete profiles of type Agent, Account, Traveler Groups, and Traveler. All other profile types are managed by Travelport.

Only profiles that do not have child profiles can be deleted. For instance, an account being deleted cannot have any associated travelers. If the user tries to delete a profile that has child profiles, a dialog displays a list of the child profiles associated to the profile. The API returns the list of profiles if total count is less than or equal to 100. If the profile has more than 100 children, the API returns the total count of child profiles only.  

To delete a profile,

  1. Open the profile.

  2. Click the Delete button.

Restrictions

  • The only profiles that can be deleted via the Travelport Admin Portal are account, traveler group, traveler, and agent profiles.

  • You must have appropriate permissions in order to delete a profile.

  • Account, traveler group, and traveler delete is a hard delete.

  • Agent delete is a soft delete, which means that when you delete an agent, no new agent can be created with that username.
