Updates to Travelport Booking Feed Installation

To receive the new data, you must install version v10.1 of the Travelport Booking Feed installation package. The new TBF.xsd file is part of the Product Installation for Adapter version v10.1. XML users will need to replace their old GID.xsd with the new GIDS.xsd file.

Customers that use TBF XML schema for validation also need to update to version 15.0 of the schema. Customers validating TBF/GIDS XML using TBF/GIDS XML schema need to upgrade to the new TBF/GIDS XML schema version 15.0.

Detail
To support Tour Code, IT/BT Indicator, Endorsement Text, and Baggage Allowance during Fare Quote events in Travelport Booking Feed (TBF), the following data will be added when triggered by a related Fare Quote event:

New data fields (TourCode and ITBTIndicator) were added to the existing AirFareQuo table for fare quote events. These fields correspond to Structured Data updates from KLRs DPAP_03 to DPAP_04 and DPMP_03 to DPMP_04.

A new data field EndorsementText was added to the existing FareCmpnt table for fare quote events. The table corresponds to a new DPES_01 KLR in Structured Data.

A new data field BaggageAllowance was added to the existing FareCmpntRte table for fare quote events. This field corresponds to Structured Data updates from KLR DPSG_02 to DPSG_03.

Customers validating TBF/GIDS XML using TBF/GIDS XML schema need to upgrade to the new TBF/GIDS XML schema version 15.0.

Updates to Travelport Booking Feed Installation
- To check to see what version of the adapter is currently installed:
- Current (up to date) Travelport Booking Feed customers should see Travelport Booking Feed (TBF) icons on their desktop and TBF version 9.3 (version 9.3 is currently the latest prior to this enhancement) in the Control Panel\add-remove programs.
- If a Travelport Booking Feed customer has installed the adapter as a Windows application a ‘Travelport Booking Feed’ icon, will appear on your desktop for the current version (as illustrated below).
- No new TBF.xsd file will be required to receive the new data fields in the existing ‘HTLSEG’ and ‘AIRFAREQUO’ table that are introduced in this release.
New Adapter version 9.4, as well the current XML Schema version 14.0, will be available on the following link;

- Installation Changes:
- ‘SQL database Setup’ screen changes.
- Removal of all previous version installation choices.
- New screen will only offer the following two choices:
- Upgrade TBF (GIDS) database
- New installation with OK and Skip buttons
Documentation Updates
When a response from a Hotel Vendor contains Commission Indicator (CM) and/or Commission Percent (CP), Travelport will add new 'Hotel Commission Indicator' and 'Hotel Commission Percent' data fields into the existing 'HTLSEG' table in Booking Feed.
New ‘Base Fare Currency Code’ and ‘Base Fare Decimal Number’ fields will be added to the existing 'AIRFAREQUO' table. TBF will populate the new fields with the details of the base fare currency.
Updates were made to the Data Definitions to support the new database fields and tables.

- ‘HTLSEG’ table
- ‘AIRFAREQUO’ table (per PR1235769).

Updates to Travelport Booking Feed Installation
1. To check to see what version of the adapter is currently installed:
Current (up to date) Travelport Booking Feed customers should see Travelport Booking Feed (TBF) icons on their desktop and TBF version 9.0(version 9.0 is currently the latest prior to this enhancement) in the Control Panel\add-remove programs.
If a Travelport Booking Feed customer has installed the adapter as a Windows application, a ‘Travelport Booking Feed’ icon will appear on your desktop for the current version.
2. To receive the new Hotel Segment table fields (RateChanges and TotalRateAmount), the renamed RateAmount field to RateGuaranteed, and the TBF Online Help icon, Travelport Booking Feed customers must install version 9.3 of the Travelport Booking Feed installation package. The new TBF.xsd file is part of the Product installation for Adapter version 9.3.
In addition, a bug is fixed to update the VendorRemarks table when non-programmatic SSR Information is available for a specific SSR Code.

As part of the 9.3 Adapter release, TBF will now record time parameters in the logs for each transaction to measure performance statistics. Ex - Total time taken for each transaction. The adapter (when running) will have an additional text string.
3. A new SQL script called ‘TBF_script_v9.1-v9.3.sql’ will also be required to update the SQL tables. If this is not run, then the adapter WILL NOT operate. This script is found during installation of the new TBF Adapter 9.3.
To upgrade from 7.0, below scripts need to be run:

- TBF_script_v9.1-v9.3.sql
To upgrade from 8.0, below scripts need to be run:

Time Parameters

2. To receive the new Change of Gauge and Ticketing Arrangements data, Travelport Booking Feed customers must install version 9.0 of the Travelport Booking Feed installation package. The new TBF.xsd file is part of the Product installation for Adapter version 9.0.

Updates to Travelport Booking Feed Installation
With the installation of the TBF adapter 8.0 files/location, names are updated to reflect Travelport and TBF.
1. To check to see what version of the adapter is currently installed:
a. Current (up to date) Travelport Booking Feed customers will see Travelport Booking Feed (TBF) icons on their desktop and theTBF version in the Control Panel\add-remove programs.
b. If a Travelport Booking Feed customer has installed the adapter as a Windows application, a ‘Travelport Booking Feed’ icon will appear on their desktop for the current version.
2. To receive new Airline Class of Service, Aircraft Type, Mileage, XML Naming Conversion and changes to files/location name, you must install version 8.0 of the Travelport Booking Feed installation package. The new TBF.xsd file is part of the Product installation for Adapter version 8.0.

Customers who use GIDS XML schema for validation also need to update to version 13.0 of the schema. (Schema is now labeled as TBF XML.)

Enhanced Installation/Label Changes:
The installation of 8.0 has enhanced file/location labels. Prior to 8.0, files and locations were labeled as Galileo International and GIDS. These labels are replaced with Travelport and TBF.
**NOTE**: If you have applications dependent on the file path Galileo International or GIDS, you must change the path to reflect the upgraded labels.

XML – Naming Conventions
To receive new XML Naming Conversion and changes to files/location name, you must install version 8.0 of the Travelport Booking Feed installation package. Overall improved TBF XML naming conventions have been made. With the enhancements, the XML files are labeled with Record Locator, PNR/BF Creation Date, and an indicator to show if the file is from a Booking record or a Ticketing record.

October 6, 2014 Fix added for MQ PropertyResourceBundle error - TBFAdapter: Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key MQJE001b
MQ Time Out: MQ Time Out inside the adapter was modified from an unlimited time to 5,000 seconds (a little less than one hour and 25 minutes). This change was to resolve MQ disconnect issues that customers have been experiencing.
Access to log, XML, and config files: User Access Control (UAC) has been added to correct an issue with Windows 8.1. Before this addition, if UAC was turned ON, messages were not received. Now they are received whether UAC is On or Off.

Updated Data Content
In the CarSeg table, CarAddress field was updated to access the car pick-up address from an offline database and automatically add the date in the Associated Itinerary Remark field.
TBF Trigger Updates
Added a new Table Lock setting (TBFU), which locks the TBFA table so that only one update can be made at a time. If the table is locked, the FBFA screen displays with a warning message at the top of the screen and the tab stops are disabled.

GIDS/TBF versions earlier than Travelport Booking Feed 2.8.02 have been retired.
New Data Content
- Added the RfndTrans table to support Air Ticket Refund transactions.
- Added the RfndAirTax table to provide a record of refunded taxes.
- Added the RfndAirTaxBrk table to provide a record of refunded taxes, broken down by airport/city code.
- In the TktTrans table, the 'R' (Refund) value was added to Active/Void Status.
- In the AirTktSeg table, the 'U' (Used) value was added to Flight Coupon Status.
- The QueueFlagsType complex type was added to the XML schema, GIDS.xsd (version 8). This type is for internal Travelport use only. Any data returned in this element should be ignored by external customers.

The product's name was changed from Galileo Integrated Data Services (Galileo IDS or GIDS) to Travelport Booking Feed. Travelport Booking Feed 2.08.02 supersedes GIDS 2.08.01.
Software Updates
- Changes were made in the installation to reflect the new product name. Please note that default installation folder remains \Galileo International\GIDS\. Therefore, existing customers will not need to modify script paths or other links that include this default.
- An update to the Client Adapter and GIDS.xsd.
- The Travelport Booking Feed installation screen can now be minimized and run in the background.
New Data Content
- The GalileoPropertyNbr2 field was added to the HtlSeg table to accommodate extended RoomMaster Property IDs.
- Queue functionality was updated to optionally support multiple queues based on Corporate IDs for a single Pseudo City Code (PCC). Corporate ID support for Ticketing events was also added.
Documentation Updates
- Documentation was updated to reflect the product's name change.
- The Data Definitions guide was updated to include the GalileoPropertyNbr2 field and CorporateID table.
- The Installation Guide was updated to include a new section, Creating Separate Queues, to support separate Client Adapter installations for multiple queues.
