Introduction

This installation supports release Travel Booking Feed 10.1 of Travelport Booking Feed, which supersedes version 9.5. Previously, this product was known as Galileo Integrated Data Source (GIDS or Galileo IDS).

The Travelport Booking Feed installation includes:

Travelport Booking Feed 10.1 Adapter, including Java version 1.7.0_21 (32-bit). This application serves as the interface between the Galileo® or Apollo® GDS system and the customer’s local database. The Travelport Booking Feed Adapter:

1. Pulls agency information from the Apollo and/or Galileo queue.
2. Parses the data.

The currently supported databases are Microsoft® SQL Server® and Sybase® Adaptive Server®. For a list of recommended databases, including Adaptive Server and SQL Server, see Software Prerequisites.

Setup scripts are included for the client database for both Adaptive Server and SQL Server. These setup scripts can be installed with the adapter or manually installed, as preferred.
