Custom Itinerary

As of 15 September 2018, the enhancements added to the Custom Itinerary feature in Travelport Smartpoint 8.1 have been removed. The current Custom Itinerary feature has reverted to the previous Travelport Smartpoint 8.0 functionality.

Travelport will continue to add enhancements to Custom Itinerary in future releases.

Customizing Itinerary Settings

You can set up Custom Itinerary to send customized itineraries to suit your agency's needs or a further customize itineraries for a specific client. With Custom Itinerary, you can change settings for the itinerary such as:

  • Selecting from 12- or 24-hour clocks.
  • Showing or hiding the travel consultant's name.
  • Adding your agency logo, address, and phone number.
  • Removing some types of information from the itinerary.
  • Adding comments or messages to your recipients in the itinerary header and footer.
  • Verifying the customer's email address.
To create your customized itinerary settings:
  1. From the Custom Itinerary page, click the Settings icon to select your customization options for this itinerary.
  2. Optional. Select Time Format and select 24 Hour Clock (18:00) or 12 Hour Clock (for example: 6:00P) for this custom itinerary. The date and time are accessed from your system. You can change the date or time from your system's Control Panel.

  1. Optional. In Travel Consultant Name, you can select Show or Hide the travel consultant's name for a specific itinerary. The consultant's name is added in Customization pane in Step 11.

  1. Optional. Select Customization to make any additional changes your Custom Itinerary settings in the Customization pane.

All customizations for the itinerary are optional. You can select from one or more of the following customizations.

  1. In Agency Logo, click Browse to add a new logo or Change to change an existing logo.
  2. In Agency Address and Phone Number, enter your agency's contact information, such as address, email, and phone number. To change the text size for your contact information, select a Font Size.
  3. In Logo Agency and Info Alignment, select Left or Center to change the alignment of your logo and agency contact information.
  4. In Header Information, add any text messages to display at the top of the itinerary.
  5. In Footer Information, add any text messages to display at the bottom of the itinerary.
  6. In Your Name, enter the travel consultant's name. You can choose to show or hide this name for a specific itinerary in Step 4.
  7. In Email Message, enter a standard message that is displayed before the custom itinerary. You can also personalize this message when you create a custom itinerary.
  8. In Travel Date Section Headers, select the desired color for the date header line.
  9. In Flight Sub-Section Headers, select the desired color for the flight header line.
  10. In Traveler Name Format, select First Name/Last Name (JOAN SMITH) or Last Name/First Name (SMITH/JOAN).
  11. In Language, select from English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, German, or Dutch. Please note that data from suppliers may not be translated.
  12. If email information is stored in a specific place in the PNR, enter the Worldspan format to display the email address in PNR Email Location.
  13. Select Suppress Meals to remove meal information from the PNR.
  1. After you complete all of your customizations, you can click either:
  2. SAVE SETTINGS to store the changes and redisplay the Custom Itinerary pane. See Arranging Custom Itineraries for more information about moving or deleting custom information.
  1. BACK to redisplay the Custom Itinerary pane without saving your changes.
