Reordering Segments

In Travelport Smartpoint, segment order functionality varies by host system.

Automatic Segment Placement (ASP): Travelport+ (1G) Only

Automatic segment placement is enabled for all Travelport+ PCCs in Smartpoint. Flight, car, and hotel segments are automatically placed in chronological order in the Booking File, regardless of the order in which they are booked.

Reorder Segments and Restore Fares: Apollo (1V) Only

Smartpoint does not currently offer automatic segment placement for Apollo. By default, new or rebooked segments are placed at the end of the PNR.

Because Apollo's default order can result in segments that are no longer in chronological order you can either:

Enable Apollo's Reorder and Re-Store functionality for PNRs that contain a Fare Shopping (FS) segment. You can enable Smartpoint to:
Automatically re-store fares as part of rebooking from a Low Fare Shopping response for either branded or unbranded fares.
Reorder segments and/or re-store fares using commands.

Manually change the segment order for PNRs that do not contain an a Low Fare Shopping segment.
