Static GTID

Smartpoint Cloud users must be set up in MyTravelport through Manage users. Each user must have the Smartpoint Cloud user role. Users may additionally be assigned the Smartpoint Exchanges and Refunds user role to allow access to exchanges and refunds.

Each individual Smartpoint Cloud user must have a static GTID (Galileo Terminal Identifier) assigned in order to access Smartpoint Cloud. Currently, static GTIDs are created and assigned by Travelport.

Once a user is added with the proper Smartpoint Cloud roles in MyTravelport, the user must then add their static GTID to their MyTravelport profile.

Add your GTID to your profile

  1. Log into Smartpoint Desktop.

  2. In the terminal window, enter 6D or +J to display your static GTID.

  3. Log into MyTravelport.

  4. Select the Profile icon in the upper right and select My profile. It is the blue circle icon with your initials inside on the upper right of the page.

  5. Select Edit profile.

  6. Enter the GTID in the Terminal identifier (static GTID) field.

  7. Select Save profile.
