Administrator Role

The MyTravelport roles of an Airline Manager, Travel Agent Manager, Developer Administrator, and Distributor Administrator are administrator-level roles. Refer to the Admin Welcome Kit for a quick reference guide that provides you with the tools for preparing your organization to use MyTravelport.

Choosing the right administrator(s) is important, as they manage all the organization’s MyTravelport users, access to MyTravelport functionality, and case management. For organizations requiring an administrator role that can access Development and Travel Agency, select the Developer Administrator role.

MyTravelport administrators are responsible for:

  • Adding users either manually or through a bulk upload.

  • Managing users within an organization, including specifying whether users can view only their own cases or if they can view all cases in the organization.

How did I become an administrator?

You became an administrator in one of two ways: you were designated by Travelport to be an administrator for your organization, or another administrator within your organization has assigned you the role of administrator.

Developer administrators

A developer administrator can perform the administrative duties for both the developer and travel agency. An agency can have both types of administrators or can choose to have only one administrator of either type or several admin of just one type – all combinations are possible and depend on the need so that organizations can customize their administrator structure.

Developer administrators can set up:

  • Developer users

  • Developer administrators

  • Travel agents

  • Customized screens for only accessible products.

To nominate the administrator for the organization, contact your Travelport account manager.
