Field, button, and link descriptions
The following table describes the fields on the Edit Employee screen.
Field | Description |

Salutation |
Salutation as it should appear in mail merge documents. This field allows up to 24 alphanumeric characters. |
Sort Name |
Sort name for the account. This field allows up to 13 alphanumeric characters. |
Name |
Name for the account. This field allows up to 60 alphanumeric characters. |
Addr1 |
Account's first address line. This field allows up to 60 alphanumeric characters. |
Addr2 |
Account's second address line. This field allows up to 60 alphanumeric characters. |
Addr3 |
Account's third address line. This field allows up to 60 alphanumeric characters. |
City |
City name. This field allows up to 30 alphabetic characters. |
State |
State code. This field allows up to 30 alphabetic characters. |
Zip/PC |
Zip plus four. This field allows up to 30 numeric characters. |
Country |
Country code or name. This field allows up to 20 alphanumeric characters. |

E-mail address. This field allows up to 30 alphanumeric characters. |
Business |
Full business number, including any extension. This field allows up to 15 alphanumeric characters. |
Fax |
Full fax number, including any extension. This field allows up to 15 alphanumeric characters. |
Home |
Full home phone number. This field allows up to 15 alphanumeric characters. |
Birth Date |
Employee's birthday. Uses the MM/DD/YYYY format. |
Social Security # |
Employee's Social Security number. 15 alphanumeric characters are allowed. |
Mark for 1099 |
Indicates whether the employee needs to get a 1099 form at the end of the year. |
Disable Dashboard |
Indicates whether the employee's dashboard should be disabled. |
Enable E-Mail Password Reset |
Indicates whether to enable automatic password reset notifications for the user. This feature is available only if Enable Database E-Mail Messaging is selected on the System tab of the System Control screen and if an SMTP server and port are specified. See System Tab. For more information about setting up password reset notifications, see Setting Up Password Reset Notifications for Employee Accounts. |
Administrator |
Indicates whether this account should receive password reset notifications for accounts identified as service accounts. For more information, see Setting Up Password Reset Notifications for Employee Accounts. Note: Selecting this option does not make the account a GlobalWare administrator. |
Service Account |
Indicates whether this account should be identified as a service account so that the account for which the Administrator option is selected will receive password reset notifications (see the description of the Administrator option above). A Service Account can have it's own password expiration timeframe using the PCI Security settings. For more information, see Setting Up Password Reset Notifications for Employee Accounts. |
Memo |
Variable length alpha numeric. This field allows up to approximately 30,000 alphanumeric characters. Note: Only employees with access to Employee Security can view employee memo fields. This enables you to store sensitive information in this field. |
Opened |
Date on which the account was opened. |
Changed |
Date on which the account was last changed. |

Contact Log |
Opens the Contact Manager screen. This screen enables you to enter the contacts that an agent has made or needs to make with an account. For more information, see Managing Contacts. |
Security |
Opens the Employee Security screen. Use this screen to select which GlobalWare functions the employee can use. Note: The Employee Security screen will not show security data for the employee if you do not have permission to view it. Your own employee account profile must have Empl Security and System Menu High selected on the Employee Security screen. For more information, see Employee Security. |
SAVE |
Saves the account and any changes made. |
DELETE |
Deletes the displayed account. For more information, see Deleting Accounts. |
< PREVIOUS |
Displays the account immediately preceding the currently displayed account as listed in the Search Results grid. |

Displays the account immediately following the currently displayed account as listed in the Search Results grid. |
