New Hotel Rule

The New Rule page allows Content Optimizer users the ability to create rules that affect the Hotel Complete Availability function, for all available rates, and typically includes a more detailed description of the available room types. Rules are tied to a PCC and apply to all users within that PCC.

Notes:

  • PCCs must enabled before being used, e.g., they must be added to your account. For example, if you add a PCC to PCC rules or Groups, they display in red text, indicating they are invalid.

  • If two rules are created that are almost identical, the latest rule will be effective. For example, if a hotel remove non-refundable rates rule is created for PCC ABC with a specific Property ID, with the length of stay equals two days, with effective dates of 1 March through 30 March, then later another hotel remove non-refundable rates rule is created for PCC ABC with the same Property ID, with the length of stay equals three days, with the same effective dates, the rule that was created most recently is used.
