Universal API v55 schema released.

Version 55.0 of the schema file, and the differences file, plus the C# (C Sharp) Proxy file, has been updated to reflect new vehicle functionality, and additional enhancements to improve usability.

Vehicle Reservation Modification via Session Booking

Universal API provides the capability that lets you modify an existing vehicle reservation inside an active Session Booking workflow. The workflow allows you to stage a change, review its pricing impact, and then either commit the change or discard it and keep the original reservation. No additional cost or penalty is incurred when a staged change is discarded.

Two new help pages (Vehicle Sessions and BookingVehiclePNRElement), updated samples, updated error file, new v55.0 schema files, and an updated C# Proxy file are published to support this functionality.

(U2) easyJet Validation Requirements for New Bookings

On July 13, 2026, easyJet added additional validation requirements for newly created bookings to ensure valid contact information is present in their system when communicating with travelers through confirmation emails and travel notifications. See PA-4636 and DA-1136 for more information.
