The ACRISS standard, developed by the Association of Car Rental Industry System Standards, is intended to avoid misleading information when making a car rental booking online or via any electronic means. Each ACRISS code consists of four characters:

For example, the code ECAD would represent an economy car with automatic transmission that uses diesel fuel.

Note: AcrissVehicleCode is a response-only attribute and has no effect on the transaction if included in a request.
