Sessions: Booking Terminal

The Booking Terminal Request can be used to send terminal commands and complete functions that are not supported directly in Universal API. The session key must be included in the header and the body. The terminal response returns in the text field.
Note: The Terminal request from the Terminal Service and the Booking Terminal Request from the Shared Booking service have equivalent functionality.

Request
Performing a Booking Terminal request, ensure a session must has been established, and a session key must be sent in the header and body of the request.
Response
The Terminal Booking response contains the text from the GDS response.
Exceptions
Terminal commands are, by their nature, GDS-specific. It is the responsibility of the consuming application to properly manage exceptions.
Note: Universal API does not support SmartPoint session token (ZTOKEN) translation to a Terminal transaction.
