Universal Desktop Installation Overview
Universal Desktop is downloaded and installed through the Travelport Admin Portal.
Important: If you are a Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Services user, see your Citrix administrator for new software releases.
There are several methods of installing Universal Desktop on your workstation:

Install a new version from the Travelport Admin Portal.

Update an existing installation (with a ‘push’ from your system administrator), which can occur in one of the following ways.

When launching the application (being given the option to install the update now, or install it later)

Within the application while in use (the update downloads and you must restart)

At a date and time prescribed by your system administrator.

Uninstall the old version of Universal Desktop, then install a new version from the Travelport Admin Portal.
Note: Installation of Universal Desktop is not required in order for an Administrator to create other users.
