Schema TBF.xsd (formerly GIDS.xsd)

For customers that choose to receive TBF data as XML, the TBF.xsd schema is typically updated for most releases. For TBF 9.0, the current version is 14.0.

Updating TBF.xsd

For customers that use TBF XML (formerly called GIDS XML) schema for validation, the correct schema version must be used. If the correct version of the schema is not applied to the database schema, the Travelport Booking Feed Adapter will not collect the new data on inbound transactions, resulting in errors. The entire transaction does not fail; however, warning messages are returned for the affected schema. For example:

 

WARNING : Air Segment Operating Carrier update available, however AirSegOperatingCarrier table not created in the database. If you want to use Air Segment Operating Carrier, please create table using SQL script otherwise ignore. Remaining information updated successfully.

To eliminate these errors, the database schema can be updated at any time after installation.
