Description

Details refund activity on behalf of a Travel Order. The data replaces previously stored ticketing data for the Travel Order. The previous contents are retained for potential review.

The RfndTrans table contains data specific to an Air Ticket Refund transaction. Fields are populated based on:

The GDS where the refund was performed: Galileo (1G) or Apollo (1V).

The type of Refund functionality used by the agency or travel provider.

The presence of applicable data in a refund ticketing event.

Many of the data fields map to a field or functional entry in a refund process performed on Apollo or Galileo by the travel provider. Refund data may also be returned via the ARNE system. Otherwise, fields are populated with system-generated data.
