Ancillary services
Displaying Ancillary Service Options
Participating carries offer ancillary services for an additional fee, such as baggage allowance, lounge access, pre-bookable meals, and paid seats. Each carrier may offer different services.
Ancillary services can be displayed using either:
- Cryptic entries. See KB0015780 in the Travelport Knowledge Base for details.
- The Ancillary Services script.
Depending on the itinerary, ancillary services may be available before or after end transacting the itinerary.
- Network (GDS) Carriers typically require ancillary services to be added after the PNR has been ended.
- Direct Payment Carriers typically require ancillary services to be added as part of the shopping process before booking. The itinerary must be priced before ancillary services are available.
See Adding Ancillary Services for complete instructions to book ancillary services.
To display the Ancillary Service script, use one of the following methods:
- From the Reservations tab, select Ancillary Services.
- From the PNR Viewer, click the Shopping Trolley icon.
- Use the #ANC QuickCommand option.
Ancillary services that are requested after booking are displayed only for confirmed (Status HK) segments.
- If one or more segments are unconfirmed, a warning is displayed at the top of the Ancillary Services window.
- If all segments are unconfirmed, a warning message is displayed.
