Bundled Services
Bundled services combine two or more ancillary services into a package with a single fee. For example, a bundle can combine assigned seating, a checked baggage fee, and early board ancillaries into a package for a single fee.
A bundled service is presented as a single option in the Ancillary Services screen. Typically, separate ancillary services cannot be added to a bundled service.
In the following example, two bundled service options are available.
In the PNR, data for bundled services is included with other ancillary service information in *DAS.
Bundled Services by Carrier
The availability, type, and requirements for bundled services vary by carrier.
Bundled Services for United Airlines (UA)
Travelport Worldspan customers have access to United Airlines Bundled Services. These services:
- Can be purchased post-booking only.
- Are not available for all United destinations.
- Must be purchased for all travelers in the PNR.
- Are not available on codeshare or interline/mixed carrier itineraries.
- Are only available with Economy cabin fares.
- Can be purchased before ticketing.
United issues an EDOC per passenger when ticketing is fulfilled. The purchase is noted in *DAS in the PNR.
