Sharing Content
In Flex Windows, there are several way to share content from the application windows and from individual windows:
- Emailing booking information with ViewTrip.
- Taking a snapshot image of the entire application window.
InstructionsTo take a snapshot of the entire application window:
- Select Take an application snapshot to copy the entire application window to the Microsoft Windows clipboard.
- Open an email, a Microsoft Word document, or another application that supports Windows Bitmap (*.bmp) image files.
- To paste the snapshot, either:
- Press CTRL+V.
- Right-click within your email or document to select Paste Options, then select the Paste from Clipboard icon.
Note: Your paste options may vary depending on the application.
The application window is pasted as a Bitmap (*.bmp) image file.

InstructionsTo take a snapshot of a single command window:
- In the desired window, click the More Options icon.
- Select Copy content as Image to copy the selected window to the Microsoft Windows clipboard.
- Open an email, a Microsoft Word document, or another application that supports Windows Bitmap (*.bmp) image files.
- To paste the snapshot, either:
- Press CTRL+V.
- Right-click within your email or document to select Paste Options, then select the Paste from Clipboard icon.

The window content is pasted as a Bitmap (*.bmp) image file.
To copy content as text:
- In the desired window, click the More Options icon.
- Select Copy content as Image to copy the selected window to the Microsoft Windows clipboard.
- Open an email, a Notepad document, a Microsoft Word document, or another application that supports pasting text.
- To paste the window text, either:
- Press CTRL+V.
- Right-click within your email or document to select Paste Options, then select the Keep Text Only icon.
Note: Your paste options may vary depending on the application.
The window content is pasted as text into the application. In the following example, the window content was pasted into Microsoft Word.
- Optional. Change the pasted text.
The pasted window content uses the default font and text format of the application where it was pasted. However, you can make any changes to the text that are supported for that application.
For example, text pasted into an email can be edited and formatted using the email application's text editing features.
To print content from a command window:
- In the desired window, click the More Options icon.
- Select Print this window to display the Print dialog box.
- Optional. Make any changes to the printer and preferences. Your available printer options and preferences will vary depending on your agency's printer setups.
- Click Print to display the print confirmation message.
- Click Ok to close the message.
