Changing Search Settings

You use the Application Settings dialog box to change the number of results for Air Availability, Flight Shopping, and Fare Display searches.

When you request more results for a search, each result adds the same number of results to the response.

To change search settings:
  1. From the Application menu, select Application Settings.

  • Flex Windows. Click the Settings icon to select Application Settings.

 

The Application Settings dialog box displays.

  1. In the Search Settings section on the right side of the dialog box, click the drop-down arrows to select from the available number of search results.
  • Air Availability sets the number of search results for Air Availability responses.
  • Flight Shopping sets the number of search results for the Flight Shopping responses.
  • Fare Display sets the number of search results for the Fare Display (Air Tariff) responses.
  1. Click SAVE to store your search setting changes.

Example

By default, Air Availability returns 16 responses in the search results. You can change the number of Air Availability responses to eight.

The Air Availability display returns only the first eight responses.

Click More Results at the bottom of the display (or press ALT + M) to add the next eight results to the response.
