Adding Fees for Booked Flight Itineraries

You can add fare mark-ups, mark-downs, or other fees to flight options from booked flight itineraries. Car and hotel fees can be added directly on Booked Itineraries tab, but air fees require a separate screen.

Tip! You can also add airline fees to unbooked quotes.
To add fees:
  1. From a Booked Itinerary tab that contains flight options, click the Mark-up/down icon. The Fees window is displayed.

  1. Enter the desired fee information. For air mark-up, air mark-down, and other air fees, you can set a fixed or percentage amount, set the fare component to associate to the amount, and edit the title of the fee in Shown broken out as.

In this example:

  • A fixed mark-down of GBP 15 is added to the base fare and labeled MU in the fare rules.
  • A fixed amount of GBP 5 is added to the total tax and labeled Extra Fee in the fare rules.
  1. Optional. Select Separate lines for Air Fare Rules to display the each rule in its own line. By default, all of the fare rules are listed in a single text block.

  1. Optional. By default, each time that you refresh the itinerary in the Booked Itinerary tab, the Fees screen displays. Select Don't prompt me if you do not want the screen to display at each refresh.
  2. Click APPLY to redisplay the Booked Itinerary tab. Mark-up/down displays a blue Edit icon to indicate that fees are associated with this fare.
  1. In Reservation Information, select Price.

  1. Click REFRESH to display the fare with the associated fee information. The fee information displays in different locations in the quote depending on your selected theme. By default, it displays in a single line, unless you selected Separate lines for Air Fare Rules in Step 3.
