Cabin Class

Fare Shopping and Air Pricing/Fare Quote requests can be modified to request pricing by a specified cabin class.

  • For Fare Shopping, Cabin drop-down lists are available through the Flight Shopping and Smartpanel screens. Modifiers as well as terminal commands on Travelport+ (FS//@U) and Apollo (FS//¤U).

  • Air Pricing/Fare Quote requests are currently available only as (FQ/$B) terminal commands.

Supported cabin classes vary by carrier and flight. Cabin classes available may include:

  • Premium First (P)

  • First (F)

  • Business (C)

  • Premium Economy (W)

  • Economy/Coach (Y)

  • Upper (U)

    The Upper class returns First class and Business class seats, and may be used by airlines that file a special Business class fare across more than one category.

    Examples of Terminal Equivalents:

    Travelport+ (1G) : FS//@U or FS-UPPER, FQBB++-UPPER

    Apollo (1V): FS//¤U,$BB//¤U

    Note: Upper class combines First and Business class seats, but is returned only if you include the Upper (U) class modifier in the request. For example, if you include a Business (C) class modifier in the request, any seats in the Business- class cabin that are listed as Upper class are NOT displayed.
