Flight availability modifiers

HELP AVAIL or H/AVAIL

Flight availability modifiers narrow the options displayed on the screen, making it easier to find the best flight options for your passenger. You can add different modifiers to your availability format to search for direct flights, time, carrier, and connection.

This section shows how to use some common modifiers. You use a single modifier or combine modifiers in a single entry.

Here are some frequently used modifiers.

Neutral and direct availability

Travelport+ has two air availability displays that provide two system ranges to meet different needs.

Neutral availability stores the information supplied by the airline. Schedules in Travelport+ are updated daily and availability is updated every few seconds.

Direct Availability provides real-time access to the airline's system. Every request goes across to the airline's system. Travelport+ displays whatever is returned by the airline but does not store it anywhere in the system.
