Void tickets
HELP VOID or H/VOID
MyTravelport search: Travelport+ Formats Guide for Document Production
Travelport+ enables you to easily void a ticket.
The period during which you can void a ticket differs depending on whether you are using BSP or ARC (United States only) reporting.
Voiding an Electronic Ticket is only possible on the same day of ticket issuance (BSP) or by 11:59 pm local agency time the next business day (ARC).
Exchange tickets can only be voided the same day both in ARC and BSP subject to airline restrictions.
To display the current day ticket/itinerary numbering system (TINS) report, enter: HMPR
To void a ticket, enter: TRV/0579900035440. In ARC areas, the date is appended to the format with a slash, followed by issue date in DDMMM format.
To void an exchange (for permitted carriers) on the same date of issue, enter: TRVE/0579900035440
Note: If you accidentally void the wrong ticket number, it is not possible to un-void it.
Void tickets
Smartpoint Cloud provides an intuitive option to void tickets. For example, tickets may be voided to change an incorrect form of payment or incorrect passenger name.
-
Most tickets are eligible for voiding only within a limited time after the initial ticketing; this time period varies depending on the settlement plan and country.
-
Only certain types of tickets are eligible for voiding through the Travelport+ (1G) system. In some cases, ineligible tickets may permit voiding directly with the carrier.
-
This feature currently supports voiding only for all tickets in the booking.
To void all tickets:
-
Retrieve a ticketed booking file (PNR) in either the terminal or graphical view.
-
Select the void tickets option.
Graphical view
Terminal view
In the terminal windows, the available option is Void all tickets.
A confirmation message is displayed. Note that voids are final; there is no process to "unvoid" a previously voided ticket.
