Queue activation

Only a secondary authorizer in your agency can activate queues, categories, and date ranges.
Queues are activated by default, and you only need to activate them if they have previously been deactivated. Categories and date ranges must be assigned before you can use them. You can subdivide each category into four date ranges for more filing space.
Note: A date range is a divider within a queue category defined by your agency's secondary authorizer. Date ranges are not related to the date in a booking file, and they do not perform any type of programmatic booking file placement. Date ranges are sub-divisions of categories and can only be activated if a category has been previously activated. Any category or date range with no activity for 240 days is marked for deletion and deleted 28 days later.
