ScriptPro Editor

This topic is for use by scriptwriters who are using ScriptPro Editor to create custom scripts for their agencies.

ScriptPro Editor Window

When you access the ScriptPro Editor, the ScriptPro Editor window displays. The ScriptPro Editor window is shown below.

Title Bar

The Title Bar contains the caption "ScriptPro Editor" and the name of the current script or "(Untitled)" for new files.

Menu Bar

All ScriptPro Editor menu items are accessed from the menu bar.

Tab Menu

When multiple files, which include scripts, dialog boxes, and list files, are open at the same time, tabs are automatically created. The file names are labeled at the top of each tab.

Text Editor area

The Text Editor area of the ScriptPro Editor accepts keyboard input and incorporates it into a script. Optional line numbering is available via Preferences.

Status Bar

When a menu item is highlighted, the status bar displays explanations for that menu item. The line and column number of cursor location in the current script is also displayed.
