Hotel Booking Reminder
An overnight stay is defined as a pair of consecutive flights in which:
- The arrival date of the first flight is different from the departure date of the second flight.
- There are at least six hours between the flights.
If you create a booking that includes an overnight stay but does not have a hotel booked, an agent alert message is displayed to check hotel availability.
Note that an alert:
- Occurs once per booking, even if the reservation record has multiple legs where there is an overnight stay or 6 hours between flights.
- Does not display if there is already an active or passive hotel segment in the booking.
If you choose to book a hotel, click SEARCH to display the Hotel Booking Tool with data pre-populated from the flight selections in the PNR.
You can change or add any hotel search information in the Hotel Booking Tool.
