Enabling and Disabling Sign On and Emulate Dialog Boxes
You can set the Sign On and Emulate dialog boxes to display or not display when Travelport Smartpoint launches.
Enabling and Disabling the Sign On Dialog Box
By default, a Sign On dialog box automatically displays when you launch Smartpoint.
If do not want to use the dialog box, you can disable the dialog box and sign on with terminal formats.
To disable the Sign On dialog box:
- Classic Windows. From the APPLICATION menu, select Application Settings.
- Flex Windows. Click the Settings icon to select Application Settings.
The Application Settings dialog box is displayed. By default, dialog check box is selected.
- Clear Auto-display sign on dialog check box.
- Optional. To re-enable the dialog box at any time, reselect Auto-display sign on dialog.
Enabling and Disabling the Emulate Dialog Box
In Smartpoint 9.0 and later, the PCC field for emulation is part of the Sign On dialog box, if applicable. However, the Emulation dialog box may still display if you change work areas after sign on.
If do not want to use the dialog box, you can disable the dialog box and emulate with terminal formats.
Note: Some agencies may control the display of the Emulation dialog box at the agency level. In this case, your personal setting change is overridden by your agency's preference.
