NDC airline capabilities

NDC airline capabilities display in the following table: Updated 05 May 2026

  • NDC Airline Schedule Change Validation - Productivity Automator has validated (subject to airline capability) the following schedule change scenarios: Time change, Origin and/or Destination change, Reroute change, Flight Number change, Class change, Partial cancellation, Full cancellation.

  • NDC Ticket Association Validation - When an airline makes a change, Productivity Automator validates if a ticket is still associated with the PNR (subject to airline capability). If a ticket is not associated, the agency must follow the manual workflow to contact the airline directly to arrange a reissue or revalidation.

  • NDC Auto-Ticketing - Productivity Automator can process the ticketing action for NDC bookings.

Notes:

  • There may be a short delay in updating the matrix with newly onboarded airlines. The NDC actions within Productivity Automator are standardized across all carriers, and the matrix below serves as the definitive reference for airlines that have been fully validated. While updates may take time to reflect, we anticipate that newly onboarded airlines will function as expected from day one.

  • Ticket Association Trigger: As of May 2026, Productivity Automator no longer requires a trigger to check for the ticket association. The ticket is owned by the airline and therefore it is the airline’s responsibility to apply any updates resulting from schedule change processing. Once the acceptance process has been completed, the airline will update the ticket accordingly. While the airline may choose not to communicate these updates to Travelport, responsibility for completing the ticket changes remains with the airline.

NDC Auto-Ticketing (Credit Card FOP) - Important considerations:

  • The credit card must be stored during the initial book-and-hold flow

  • CVV data is not captured or stored during book and hold. As a result:

    • This action is only available for airlines that do not require CVV at the time of ticketing.

    • If an airline requires CVV input during ticket issuance, auto-ticketing with credit card is not supported for that carrier.
