Overview Tab

The Productivity Automator Overview tab lets you create new rules, review and sort existing rules, copy, edit, activate, and deactivate existing rules, and delete rules. The Overview tab contains every rule that you and your colleagues create.

Note: Any filtering applied in the Account and Interface tab reflects the rules which are shown. Refreshing Productivity Automator resets your CIDB selection.

Rule Actions

The following are actions that can be taken on the Overview tab.

  • New Rule: The New Rule button launches the rule creation process.

  • Search Rules: The Search Rules text box lets you search for specific properties of existing rules.

  • Delete Rule: The Delete Rule button lets you delete the associated rule.

  • View Rule Details: Click on any rule to launch the side modal with rule details, with an Overview tab and a History tab. The following information and actions are available on the side modal:

    • Rule name: The rule name displays at the top of the side modal.

    • Download Rule The Download Rule button next to the Rule name lets you download the json and PDF files for the associated rule.

    Overview tab:

    Displays rule details, and allows the following actions:

    • Edit Rule: The Edit Rule button lets you edit the associated rule.

    • Copy Rule: The Copy Rule button lets you create an exact copy of the associated rule.

    • Activate/Deactivate rule: The Deactivate button on the side modal lets you deactivate an active rule. The Activate button on the side modal lets you activate a deactivated rule. If you’re trying to activate an expired rule, Productivity Automator asks you to update the schedule.

      Note: In the Overview tab for a completed rule, all targeted queues display. To make edits to the queues, select the Edit rule button.

    History tab:

    Displays the history of the rule, including:

    • Created by: The user ID of the entity that created the rule.

    • Created on: The date and time (based on Coordinated Universal Time [UTC]) the rule was created.

    • Last modified: The date and time (based on UTC) the rule was last modified.

  • Sign Out: The Sign Out button signs your profile out of Productivity Automator.

Rule Table

The Rule Table lists all active and inactive rules. These rules can be sorted by their associated column.

Rule Name

The Rule Name column lists all rules chronologically, by the date of creation or last edit where the new rules display at the top of the table.

Status

The Status column displays whether the rule is Active or Inactive.

  • Active: The rule is currently active and running.

  • Inactive: The rule is currently inactive and not running.

Click the Sort arrows to sort the rules by status.

Tag

The tag column lists the type of rule that was assigned to it during the rule creation process. There are 5 tags: Queue management, File Finish, Schedule Change, Ticketing, and Waitlist. You cannot sort by Tag description, but you can search by tag in the Search box.

PCC

The PCC column lists the associated PCC(s) for the associated rule. You cannot sort by PCC, but you can search by PCC in the Search box.

Queue

The Queue column lets you view which queue each of your rules is targeting.

Note: The Queue column includes the Category and Date range targeted by the rule. For example, in Queue 2 in the following screen shot, it displays *CA for Category, and *D1 for Date range.

Starts and Ends

These columns reflect the rule schedule. If the rule scheduled is set to run forever, only the Start date is present in the column. If the rule is scheduled to run during a period of time, both the Start date and End date are present.

Updated

The Updated column lists the date the rule was last updated. This may include the creation date. Click the Sort arrows to list the rules chronologically based on the Updated date.
