Approve Users

Available to: Airline Managers, Agency Managers, Developer Administrators, Distributor Administrator

If an organization is configured to require that an administrator approve all new user requests, the new user's status will be Pending until an administrator approves or rejects the new user request.

The User alerts section of the Home page lists the most recent requests for access.

Once a new user submits a request for registration, a reminder email is sent to the organization's administrator after 24 hours. A registration request is automatically closed after 10 days.

To approve new users:

  1. Select the Administration menu then Manage users. You can also select a User alert link on the Home page.

  2. To show only those users whose status is pending, select the Pending option for Filter status by, located under the Search button.

  3. Select the check box next to the user's name that you want to approve.

  4. Select the Approve button. The user's status changes to Active and that user now has access to MyTravelport.

Once users have been approved, they receive an email with a link to set their password. They set a new password and log in using their new password.
